Driver updates for Windows 10, along with many devices, such as network adapters, monitors, printers, and video cards, are automatically downloaded and installed through Windows Update. You probably already have the most recent drivers, but if you'd like to manually update or reinstall a driver, here's how:

Update the device driver

Micro + (Plus) CAUTION This software is intended for Micro+ users and has not been fully tested for backward compatibility with the Micro. Use of this software to control a Micro is at your own risk. 1. In the search box on the taskbar, enter device manager, then select Device Manager.

2. Select a category to see names of devices, then right-click (or press and hold) the one you’d like to update.

3. Select Search automatically for updated driver software.

4. Select Update Driver.

5. If Windows doesn't find a new driver, you can try looking for one on the device manufacturer's website and follow their instructions.

• Windows 10 Drivers and Software for LifeCam Cinema Even though the Microsoft compatibility site for LifeCam Cinema says it is compatible with Windows 10 and there are no separate drivers or software provided for Windows 10, and the software and drivers for Windows 7 Pro 64 bit (or Windows 8) do now work for Windows 10.
• If Windows doesn’t automatically find a new driver after the printer is added, look for one on the device manufacturer's website and follow their installation instructions. Open settings for Printers & scanners.

Reinstall the device driver

1. In the search box on the taskbar, enter device manager, then select Device Manager.

2. Right-click (or press and hold) the name of the device, and select Uninstall.

3. Restart your PC.

4. Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.
